Ministry of Justice is implementing reforms in the legal services sector to make the investment environment in Armenia more favourable and relieve investors of bureaucratic issues

The first Armenia-Russia legal conference was launched today in Yerevan with the support of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia; the aim of the conference is to establish dialogue between representatives of the legal and business communities, the financial organisations and state bodies of Russia and Armenia, as well as to present the peculiarities of the legal system in Armenia and the business opportunities in Armenia.

Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan delivered opening remarks during the conference. Minasyan particularly emphasised the following: "This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia, and the holding of the conference is symbolic. In addition to interstate relations, it is important to also strengthen and promote the dialogue of the business environments of the two countries. The legal services sector is one of the bedrocks of a business environment, and it is important that the investment environment in Armenia becomes even more favourable, and that investors are relieved of bureaucratic issues."
The holding of the conference will help to ensure effective co-operation of representatives of the business communities of Armenia and Russia and to advance bilateral co-operation in the future.
