Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan delivers welcoming speech at Embassy of the Netherlands on the occasion of the national day of the Netherlands

27/04/2022

On 27 April, the Kingdom of the Netherlands celebrates King’s Day. The holiday, which is associated with the monarch’s birthday, is also viewed as a day of national unity and solidarity.

It is noteworthy that the Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia opened quite recently, in 2020, and it is the first time that such an event was held in Armenia. Among other high-ranking statesmen and diplomats and representatives of international organisations, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan took part in and delivered a speech at the event, and this was followed by a welcoming speech by Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan as a sign of the Armenian-Dutch friendly relations. Minister Andreasyan expressed congratulatory remarks on the occasion of the national holiday, as well as highly appreciated the already established friendly and partnering relations between the two countries, evidence of which are the several interstate agreements and memoranda and the friendly relations between the peoples.

The Minister expressed willingness to do everything possible to make the interstate co-operation between the two friendly countries closer in all fields, especially in the field of legal co-operation.
