The process of automation of the functions of the Compulsory Enforcement Service is in progress. Unblocking of amounts will now take one day when making payment through 11 banks.
In the past, citizens had to wait up to 7 days for the Compulsory Enforcement Service to lift the attachment imposed on their properties and funds after paying the amount subject to levy.
Four more banks have also joined the automation project, including Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC and ARMBUSINESSBANK CJSC, as well as UNIBANK OJSC and ARARATBANK OJSC. It should be mentioned that the Compulsory Enforcement Service had already carried out a similar pilot project with IDBank, Converse Bank, Ameriabank, VTB BANK (ARMENIA) , Evocabank, ArmSwissBank and Mellat Bank.
The process will be ongoing until all banks of Armenia are engaged.
