Model of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented to Standing Committees on Defence and State and Legal Affairs

Acting Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan and Deputy Minister Arpine Sargsyan presented the model for the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during a closed discussion with members of the Standing Committees on Defence and Security and on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Within the scope of the discussion, Grigor Minasyan presented the structure and functions of the to-be-established Ministry, the activities of state bodies under the Ministry during the transition period, as well as the expected structure and scope of activities of the Ministry, the Police and other subordinate state bodies as the final outcome. At the end of the discussion, some oral proposals were also presented, and they will be considered by the authors of the draft.
