The Ministry of Justice, jointly with the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, has organised training for organisers for integrity issues of state administration bodies and independent and autonomous bodies.

The current legislative regulations with respect to the incompatibility requirements for persons holding public positions and public servants, the restrictions for receiving gifts and conflict of interests were presented.

Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption Policy Development and Monitoring of the Ministry of Justice Kristine Gabuzyan, Head of the Anti-Corruption Policy Development Division Yeprem Karapetyan and Chief Specialist of the Department for Oversight over Behaviour of Public Servants of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption Svetlana Jilavyan delivered speeches.

The organisers involved in integrity issues were introduced to the anti-corruption institutional system, the role and significance that the Ministry of Justice has had in the system of those bodies, the components of and need for the integrity system and the role and functions of the organisers.

The training course was particularly aimed at raising awareness about the recent legislative amendments made to the Law "On public service" and the functions of the organisers involved in integrity issues with respect to the amendments.

There were various questions given and recommendations made during the active discussion that was held.

At the same time, in the near future it is envisaged to hold a similar training course also for organisers for integrity issues of local self-government bodies.
