The Ministry of Justice, jointly with the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, organised a working discussion for the executive bodies.

Head of the Department for Anti-Corruption Policy Development and Monitoring of the Ministry of Justice Kristine Gabuzyan delivered an opening speech at the discussion. Kristine Gabuzyan emphasised the key role of the declaration system from the perspective of corruption prevention; and considering the time-consuming and complex nature of the declaration process, she attached importance to the introduction of the new electronic system in simplifying the process and solving the existing problems.

The objective of the meeting was to familiarise the declarant officials with the new electronic system of declarations and identify the practical issues that had emerged during the piloting process, as well as to collect the recommendations aimed at improvement of the declaration system.

Karen Hakobyan, Head of the Declaration Analysis Department of the Commission, presented the new electronic system of submitting declarations introduced by the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, rules on technical operation of the System and filling in the declarations, as well as highlighted the possible issues related to the System launching and its piloting.
