From 1 January 2023 until today about 7500 legal entities submit declarations on beneficial owners

We hereby inform once again that all legal entities (irrespective of the legal and organisational nature) are obliged to submit to the Agency for State Register of Legal Entities a declaration on beneficial owners.

The term for fulfilment of the mentioned obligation expires on 1 March 2023. Failure to submit information on beneficial owners by a person having the obligation to submit a declaration within the period prescribed by the law entails administrative liability according to Article 169.29 of the Code on Administrative Offences.

We inform that the persons having submitted declarations in previous years are also obliged to submit information by February 20 on the up-to-dateness of the information provided in the previous declaration, or they must submit an amended declaration.

Failure to present the corresponding information within the prescribed term also entails administrative liability.
