Deputy Minister of Justice Ara Mkrtchyan attaches importance to the development of reforms in criminal justice sector at the meeting with the EU delegation representative in Armenia

Deputy Minister of Justice Ara Mkrtchyan and Head of the Department of Criminal Legislation, Penitentiary and Probation Policy Development Garik Abelyan received the representative of the European Union Delegation.
At the meeting, further dynamics on developing reforms on criminal, penitentiary and probation sector was emphasised, as well as an arrangement was reached on providing support in the above-mentioned sectors, involving experts and conducting studies.
For the purpose of enhancing productivity in the process of establishing electronic justice, an arrangement was reached on conducting study visit to European countries.
As a result of the discussions, clear directions on further collaboration and the expediency of reflecting them in the corresponding document were outlined.
