"Expertise Centre of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO also participates in the regular distance briefing of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)

On 22 February, a briefing in distance format took place within the framework of the Programme “International collaborative exercises” (ICE) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), which was attended by experts of the Department for Biological and Narcotic Forensic Examinations of the "Expertise Centre of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO. The activities carried out in 2022 and the analysis obtained, as well as the issues deriving therefrom and the important directions that would enable enhancing the collaboration effectiveness through the project in 2023 were discussed at the briefing. At the discussion, updates and additions to the list of materials investigated during the exercise on drugs and psychotropic substances were presented to the participants. Representatives of about 70 laboratories from around the world participated in the briefing. As a result of the discussion, clear directions for efficient settlement of issues and further collaboration were outlined. It should be reminded that since 2023, the Centre has been actively collaborating with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
