Upon order of Grigor Minasyan, transfer of heads of five Penitentiary Institutions carried out

Guided by part 2 of Article 16 and part 1 of Article 22 of the Law "On penitentiary service", as well as based on the recommendations presented under letters of Head of the Penitentiary Service, Major General of Justice Sergey Atomyan of 23 February 2023, transfers were carried out in the system of the Penitentiary Service upon the orders of Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan.

Head of "Vanadzor" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Arsen Arzumanyan (father’s name: Bakhshi) was dismissed from the position held and was appointed as Head of "Sevan" Penitentiary Institution by order of transfer.

Head of "Goris" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Manuk Poghosyan (father’s name: Armenak) was dismissed from the position held and was appointed as Head of "Vanadzor" Penitentiary Institution by order of transfer.

Head of "Abovyan" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Armen Martirosyan (father’s name: Vanik) was dismissed from the position held and was appointed as Head of "Goris" Penitentiary Institution by order of transfer.

Head of "Sevan" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Gevorg Hovhannisyan (father’s name: Zhudolf) was dismissed from the position held and was appointed as Head of "Abovyan" Penitentiary Institution by order of transfer.

Head of "Yerevan-Kentron" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Ruben Khalapyan (father’s name: Eduard) was dismissed from the position held and was appointed as Head of "Hospital of Convicts" Penitentiary Institution by order of transfer.

Head of "Hospital of Convicts" Penitentiary Institution, Colonel of Justice Aghasi Khachatryan (father’s name: Khachik) was dismissed from the position held in the Penitentiary Service.
