Deputy Minister Levon Balyan emphasized the importance of always supporting the reforms carried out in the field of justice by the Government of the Republic of Armenia at the launch event of the Council of Europe's "Support to the effective execution of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in Armenia".

Levon Balyan, emphasizing the results of cooperation, particularly emphasized the effectiveness of the previous program dedicated to the execution of judgments made under Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights, noting that the starting program will cover wider areas.

Emphasizing the role of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the legal system of Armenia, the Deputy Minister noted that despite the steps already taken, there are still some issues in terms of ensuring their effective implementation.

Levon Balyan noted that at the starting stage, it is expected to continue the effective cooperation that has already been formed, including the Ministry's emphasis on improving the legislation on enforcement proceedings, shortening the terms of implementation of enforcement proceedings, developing the capabilities of enforcement officers and other issues.

Summarizing the speech, the Deputy Minister reaffirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Justice to cooperate both with our partners of the Council of Europe and with the beneficiaries of the project in order to increase the effectiveness of the execution of the judgments of the ECHR.
