Active steps taken during recent months towards the implementation of the ECtHR judgments presented on the international platform

Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan participated in the discussion dedicated to the promotion of the institutional level of implementation of ECtHR judgments in the Republic of France, at the presentation of the Armenian version of the HUDOC platform and at the meeting with the Ambassador of Lichtenstein Domenik Wanger taking into account the fact that in the near future the leadership of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe would be taken over by Liechtenstein.
The Deputy Minister presented the achievements related to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, in particular, addressed the adoption of the Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes of the Republic of Armenia, the introduction of child-oriented regulations in the new Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes, the trainings carried out through the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Armenia on the topics related to the right to life of judges, investigators, prosecutors, persons on the list of candidates for judges, domestic violence and violence against women, torture, inhuman or degrading treatment, the right to fair trial and legal equality, prohibition of discrimination, etc.
On the international platform, Armenuhi Harutyunyan also presented the effective mechanisms of exercise of the right of convicts to enjoy social and legal services, as well as the active steps taken during the recent months towards the implementation of the ECtHR judgments.
