Deputy Minister of Justice of Iran visits persons of the Islamic Republic of Iran deprived of liberty and serving their punishment at "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Levon Balyan

Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan, Deputy Head of the Penitentiary Service Ambakum Grigoryan, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran Askar Jalalian and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani paid a visit to "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution.

The parties toured "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution, and the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran got acquainted with the conditions for confinement at the Institution.

Askar Jalalian also had a meeting with the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran serving their punishment in Armenia and listened to their concerns and suggestions.

Later, the Deputy Ministers of Justice of the two countries, accompanied by Ambakum Grigoryan, went to the room that helps to ensure connection between the person deprived of liberty and his or her public defender.

At the end of the day, the parties summed up the results of the visit.
