Stage of qualification test for psychologists participating in investigative actions kicks off

The Ministry of Justice is announcing a qualification test for psychologists involved in investigative actions with the participation of juveniles, persons having no active legal capacity or persons with mental health problems (hereinafter referred to as the qualification test) which will be held on 22 November 2023 at 11:00.
Every citizen of the Republic of Armenia having active legal capacity who has higher education in psychology and having passed the qualification courses for psychologists prescribed by Annex No 1 — approved under Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia No 334-L of 29 June 2022 "On establishing the content of qualification courses for psychologist involved in the execution of investigative actions with participation of juveniles, persons having no active legal capacity or persons with mental health problems and the procedures for holding the courses, the procedure for drawing up qualification tests for psychologist, the procedure for undergoing training of qualified psychologist, the content and programme of the training course, the form of qualification certificate", may apply to participate in the qualification test.
An applicant may not be the person, who:
(1) has been declared, through judicial procedure, as having no active legal capacity or having limited active legal capacity;
(2) has been sentenced for committing a criminal offence, and the conviction has not been expunged or cancelled as prescribed.
To participate in the qualification test, an applicant shall personally submit the following to the Ministry of Justice (address: 3/8 V. Sargsyan Street, Yerevan):
(1) application which must indicate the following:
- name, surname, father's name of the applicant (if father's name is available in the identification document)
- place of residence, telephone number or e-mail address of the applicant
(2) 2 colour photos measuring 3x4 mm
(3) identification document or its carbon copy;
(4) diploma certifying the higher education in psychology and its carbon copy;
(5) certificate certifying the fact that he or she has passed the qualification course of psychologist and its carbon copy;
(6) oral statement on the absence of his or her conviction, certified through notarial procedure.
When submitting the carbon copies of the documents, the applicant must have the originals of them at the moment the documents are handed over.
The qualification test is conducted in writing (through testing).
The documents are accepted every working day 09։30-12։30 and 14։30-17։00).
The deadline for submitting documents is 30 October 2023 until 17:00.
The applicants will be informed about the place, date and time for conducting the qualification test at least 10 days before the test is conducted (via the e-mail address referred to in the application).
