On the new procedure for qualification test for candidates for notaries public

We would like to inform that upon Decision of the Government No 2051-N of 23 November 2023, the procedure for qualification test for candidates for notaries public has been fully modified.

Unlike the previous procedure, from this point forth, the announcement for conducting a qualification test will be issued for the vacant position of a notary public of the relevant seat of a specific notarial district, and for the newly established position — the given position, indicating the notarial district and the seat.

As a result, if there is a relevant announcement, the candidate for notary public with the goal and desire to participate in the qualification test for candidates for notary public is notified about the test being conducted for replenishing the vacancy of notary public in the relevant seat of the specific notarial district and assesses the expediency of participating in the specified test by taking into consideration various factors, taking into account also the fact that in case the candidate passes the test, he or she will be appointed as notary public of the particular notarial district.
