70 persons apply to be appointed as notaries public in marzes

The first stage of the qualification test for candidates for notaries public declared by the Ministry of Justice has been held. This was the first qualification test following the legislative reforms of the procedure for appointment to the vacant position of notary public and qualification test. There were 70 participants who had applied for the vacant position in five regional districts. Let us remind that in accordance with the modified procedure, qualification tests shall be conducted for the purpose of filling the vacant or newly created staff position in a specific notarial district. First, during a written test, the knowledge of the candidates for notary public will be tested through problem-solving, and the venue and time for holding the second stage (oral test) will be announced after the results of the written test are summed up. The interview stage will be held by the commission comprising an equal number of members of the Notarial Chamber and the Ministry of Justice to test the skills and qualities that the candidates need to have in order to hold the position of notary public.
