Fingerprint expert examination through new equipment will take only 3 minutes instead of previous 2 hours

From now on, more accurate fingerprint expert examinations will be conducted by the Department of Archaeological Examinations of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" State Non-Commercial Organisation due to the new generation device-equipment that it has acquired. Through the device, the fingerprint will be scanned and digitised electronically, and this, in its turn, will help to confirm or deny the identification of the person in question. It should be noted that in the past, this examination was conducted mechanically, by taking the fingerprints of a person on paper with appropriate materials, but the new device allows the specialist to conduct the same examination in a shorter period of time: whereas it used to be conducted mechanically in 2 hours, now it is conducted only in 1 to 3 minutes through the use of this device. If necessary, a fingerprint identification expert examination shall be scheduled and the "DACTO" card (document) shall be issued upon request of an individual for submission to the Police of the Republic of Armenia, embassies of foreign countries and a number of state and international institutions.
