Armenuhi Harutyunyan and Karen Karapetyan receive Honorary Consuls to discuss issues related to consular activities

Deputy Ministers of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan and Karen Karapetyan received representatives of the Union of Honorary Consuls Non-Governmental Organisation. The draft Decision of the Government — developed by the Ministry of Justice and submitted for public discussion — was considered during the meeting. The aim of the draft is to provide legal regulations for a number of issues that remain open or imperfect in terms of regulation and give rise to different interpretations. The draft touches upon the legal regulation of the primary red colour number plates allocated for the vehicles of honorary consuls; therefore, in addition to the written recommendations submitted within the scope of the public discussion, the "Union of Honorary Consuls" Non-Governmental Organisation asked to consider the draft during the meeting. Head of the Department of Legal Support of the Ministry of Justice Margarita Zalibekyan, Chairperson of the Union of Honorary Consuls NGO Honorary General Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Armenia Babken Sedrakyan, Vice-President of the same NGO, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Armenia Armine Adamyan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Senegal in the Republic of Armenia Artashes Avoyan, as well as other representatives of non-governmental organisations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice participated in the working discussion organised for additional clarification of the provisions of the developed draft and to consider the current proposals.
