World Bank discusses progress of implementation of Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project

A meeting with World Bank partners was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan. Issues related to the progress of implementation of the Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project were discussed during the meeting. Task Team Leaders of the World Bank Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project (PSMB4) Arman Vatyan and Khuram Farooq assessed the Ministry of Justice as one of the most effective state institutions in Armenia co-operating with the organisation, attached importance to the need for uninterrupted completion of projects being implemented with the support of the World Bank, as well as discussed the timetables and the existing problems in regard to all the projects. Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan stressed the vital importance of the e-justice programmes that are being jointly implemented with the Ministry of Justice within the scope of the Fourth Public Sector Modernization Project, as part of the digitisation processes, among which are the e-criminal court, e-notary, e–registry and e-penitentiary programmes. Deputy Minister of Justice Karen Karapetyan, Secretary General Sirvard Gevorgyan, Advisor to the Minister Liana Tovmasyan, Fourth Public Sector Modernisation Project manager Aharon Mkrtchyan, Managing Partner of SIGMA Law Firm Rafik Grigoryan and public sector specialist Nane Harutyunyan participated in the meeting.
