Convicts remotely visit Yeghishe Charents House-Museum

On the initiative of convicts who are members of a self-made cultural association operating at “Armavir” Penitentiary Institution of the Ministry of Justice, and through the assistance of the Department for Social, Psychological and Legal Activities of the Penitentiary Institution, a cultural event (on-line excursion to Yeghishe Charents House-Museum) was organised.
The poet's granddaughter, senior researcher at the House-Museum Gohar Charents presented to the persons deprived of liberty the life of Charents, including episodes of his life in prison, his career, family, as well as the impact that his works had on time and Armenian culture.
The remote meeting ended with a lively discussion and a question-and-answer session.
