Anti-corruption toolkit and whistle-blowing system presented to state servants of the National Assembly

Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption Policy Development and Monitoring of the Ministry of Justice Lara Petrosyan talked about the role and significance of the whistle-blowing system in combating corruption within the scope of the training course on "Integrity system in the public service" for improving the capacities of state servants of the National Assembly. Talking about the whistle-blowing system, Lara Petrosyan presented the legal regulations in respect of the types of whistle-blowing, the measures for protection for whistle-blowers, and touched upon the Unified Electronic Platform for Whistle-Blowing (azdararir.am), the rules for operation of the Platform, as well as the protection of confidentiality and anonymity and the legal regulations of the system. The Head of the Department also presented the actions provided for by the 2023-2026 Anti-Corruption Strategy aimed at combating corruption and improving the whistle-blowing system. The representative of the Ministry of Justice also touched upon the importance of the whistle-blowing system for revealing cases of corruption, conflicts of interest, rules of conduct, incompatibility requirements and other violations related to declaration, for preventing and reducing corruption, as well as shaping of intolerant attitude of the society towards corruption.
