Another 14 psychologists to take part in investigative actions with participation of juveniles, persons with no active legal capacity or with mental health problems — certificates granted under direction of Levon Balyan

A few days ago, the qualification of psychologists — announced by the Ministry of Justice as prescribed by the Decision of the Government "On establishing the procedure for qualification of psychologists involved in investigative actions with participation of juveniles, persons with no active legal capacity or with mental health problems" — was held with the participation of 26 applicants, and 14 participants passed the passing threshold..
Deputy Minister Levon Balyan handed the certificates over to psychologists having passed the qualification stage and wished them productive work and successful service. The Deputy Minister emphasised that psychologists are required to have high professional qualities, exceptional responsibility and work efficiency. The Deputy Minister expressed special gratitude to the United Nations Children's Fund for the effective co-operation and the support provided.
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Access to Justice Officer Victoria Ohanyan and Acting Director of the "Legal Education and Rehabilitation Programmes Implementation Centre" Syuzanna Makyan also participated in the meeting.
Let us mention that from 22 April to 4 June, psychologists passed the stage of qualification courses for the year 2024 through the procedure approved by the Minister of Justice at Karbi Training Centre of the "Legal Education and Rehabilitation Programmes Implementation Centre" SNCO in Aragatsotn Marz. The internship was conducted by the central and territorial bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
