Gadget with structure of human body will make it possible to determine degree of vulnerability of cutting-piercing tool — Expert Center has new device

The Department of Etymological Expertise of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO of the Ministry of Justice has acquired a target unit designed to determine the degree of vulnerability of a cutting-piercing tool (i.e. all types of knives), as well as to obtain experimental injuries with a cutting-piercing tool for comparative studies.
In terms of structure, the device simulates the structure of the human body: skin, subcutaneous layer, muscles, bones and internal organs. In the past, experts would use similar adapted objects to conduct such an examination.
With a target unit, it is possible to make more than two thousand experimental strikes.
