Business integrity, corporate governance issues — New Corporate Governance Code of the Republic of Armenia presented

Head of the Department Anti-Corruption Policy Development and Monitoring at the Ministry of Justice Yeprem Karapetyan participated in the workshop under the title “New Corporate Governance Code of the Republic of Armenia: Issues of Introduction and Enforcement” that was organised by the Corporate Governance Centre, in co-operation with the Commerce Law Development Program of the United States Department of Commerce.

During the workshop, the new Corporate Governance Code of the Republic of Armenia was presented, within the scope of which the issues related to corporate governance were touched upon. Yeprem Karapetyan presented to the participants of the workshop the steps that have already been taken and are being taken in the direction of business integrity within the scope of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Armenia and the 2023-2026 Action Plan arising from the Strategy.

The newly appointed CEO of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Konstantin Saroyan; ADB Country Director for Armenia Don Lambert; Head of Office for Armenia of the Commerce Law Development Program of the U.S. Department of Commerce Luiza Ayvazyan; Director of the Corporate Governance Centre Narine Melikyan and others delivered their opening remarks at the workshop.
