Whistle-blowing institution presented to youth of Tavush and Shirak Marzes

The Ministry of Justice, in close co-operation with "Restart Ijevan" and "Restart Gyumri" Civic Youth Centre non-governmental organisations, conducted a training session devoted to the whistle-blowing system within the scope of the Anti-Corruption Youth Camp taking place on 10-14 October for the youth of Tavush and Shirak Marzes, presenting the whistle-blowing system and the nationwide campaign for whistle-blowing. Advisor to the Minister of Justice Liana Tovmasyan welcomed the initiative of the Anti-Corruption Youth Camp organised for about 100 young people aged 14-25, emphasised the role of information in combating corruption and the commitment of the State to increasing the role of the system, and presented the results recorded as part of the awareness campaign.
Within the scope of the training, Head of the Monitoring Division of the Anti-Corruption Policy Development and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Justice Tatevik Khachatryan introduced to the participants of the Anti-Corruption Youth Camp the whistle-blowing institution, its types, the peculiarities of the unified whistle-blowing platform and the ways to use the platform. A regular training under the nationwide whistle-blowing campaign was conducted within the scope of a memorandum concluded between the Ministry of Justice and non-governmental organisations implementing USAID-funded projects.
