Issues of establishing management bodies of the Self-regulatory Organization of Mediators discussed during two-day workshop

A two-day workshop was held with the participation of certified mediators ahead of restructuring of the Self-regulatory Organization of Mediators. During the workshop, the participants thoroughly discussed the issues related to the establishment of management bodies of the Self-regulatory Organization of Mediators, sharing their comments and suggestions, and they became familiar with the programmes and professional activities of the candidates to Chairperson and members of the Board. What was also discussed were the issues related to the development of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and other internal documents that will ensure high-quality and effective mediation process.

The workshop was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice and the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation, with the support of the Justice Sector Support Programme of the USAID/Armenia Mission and the United Nations Development Programme, as well as the "Counterpart International" organisation, within the framework of the "Support to the Centre for Legislation Development" Project.
