Translation Centre and Confucius Institute conclude Memorandum of Understanding

The Translation Centre of the Ministry of Justice and the Confucius Institute of Brusov State University have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding. Director of the Translation Centre Anahit Abrahamyan considered as important the fact that the launch of partnership is being recorded legally, noting that this will serve as the foundation for the co-ordinated implementation of processes in the future. The Director of the Armenian side of Confucius Institute Gor Sargsyan welcomed the initiative of the Translation Centre for the development and dissemination of the Chinese language in Armenia. Director of the Chinese side of Confucius Institute Han Mingjie expressed willingness to assist in the training of the Centre's staff abroad.

The aim of the Memorandum of Understanding is to ensure active bilateral co-operation in organising Chinese language courses, developing the capacities of the staff of the Translation Centre in the field of educational and professional trainings, including through trainings that are organised in foreign countries.

The processes are being carried out under the auspices of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Armenia.
