On convening a General Meeting of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators City of Yerevan, 17 October 2024. Dear mediator, This is to notify you that a General Meeting of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators will be held on 4 November 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Elite Plaza Business Centre (Address: 15 Movses Khorenatsi Street) as a joint session of certified mediators, and the items on the agenda are as follows: 1. The issue of terminating the powers of the current bodies of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators. 2. The issue of setting up new governing bodies of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators, i.e. General Meeting, Board of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators. Please, be informed, that:
- The General Meeting shall have a quorum, if it is attended by more than half of all mediators.
- Every mediator must participate in the voting in person.
- On the day of elections, it is necessary to show up with an identification document.
- The confidentiality of voting is not only the right, but also the obligation of a voting mediator.
- Every mediator may nominate candidate(s) for chairperson of the body to be elected, as well as that of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators. Nomination (self-nomination) of candidates shall start on the day of this notification and end on 27 October at 23:59.
- If a candidate for chairperson of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators is nominated, the issue of electing the chairperson of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Mediators shall be deemed to be included in the Agenda.
