Anti-corruption working group holds regular meeting

On 21 October, a regular meeting of the anti-corruption working group was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Justice Karen Karapetyan. Representatives and experts of the Ministry of Justice submitted the drafts of legal acts developed within the scope of the actions that the Ministry carries out, particularly the unified mechanisms for the formation of Ethics Commissions, the Code of Conduct for members of the Council of Elders, certain types of public service, as well as mechanisms for the study on of integrity of persons holding public positions with a wide range of powers and the competence to make decisions independently. The issues concerning representatives of state bodies and non-governmental organisations and the identified problems were discussed with them. The working group outlined the activities to be carried out in relation to the issues discussed.
Deputy Minister of Justice Karen Karapetyan expressed gratitude to the colleagues for their participation and effective partnership in the process of drafting the legal acts.
