Mediators elect Chairperson and members of Management Body of the Self-Regulatory Organisation; General Meeting of SRO held

The Self-Regulatory Organisation of Mediators held its first General Meeting. It had been predetermined under the comprehensive reforms made in the Law “On mediation” back in 2022 which laid the foundation for the creation of a more effective system. Thanks to the reforms, about 80 mediators have been qualified in line with international standards, demonstrating the commitment to enhance the sector and make it competitive. During the first General Meeting, the pillars of the Self-Regulatory Organisation of Mediators were established, and the management bodies were elected. The Council of the SRO comprising 7 members was set up, and Gayane Demichyan was elected Chairperson of the institution by the licensed mediators.

The Ministry of Justice welcomes the efforts of all mediators for the establishment of the important institution and wishes them productive work.
