Discussion held with representatives of state bodies, non-governmental organisations and mass media

The Ministry of Justice, together with USAID, organised a panel discussion on "Civil oversight and the role of media in managing corruption risks within state institutions", with the participation of representatives of state bodies, non-governmental organisations and mass media representatives. The progress of implementation of the anti-corruption policy, the current achievements, the paths for overcoming the challenges and sector-specific problems, the joint efforts aimed at improving the whistle-blowing system, the effective use of available resources, the importance of dialogue and co-operation between citizens and the State and a number of other issues were discussed. The event was held within the scope of "Anti-Corruption Awareness Week".
