After exchanging greetings, the parties highly appreciated the daily and effective co-operation within the scope of programmes targeted at human rights protection and strengthening of democracy. The parties discussed the support of the UNDP in alternative dispute resolution, provision of free legal aid, effective organising of the constitutional reforms process, as well as the development and implementation of strategic documents in the area of human rights protection. The Minister touched upon the priorities of the Ministry of Justice in 2025, re-affirming the continuity of the programmes that are being jointly implemented. These programmes will be aimed at monitoring implementation of the 2023-2025 Action Plan arising from the National Strategy on Human Rights Protection, supporting implementation of constitutional reforms and improving the system for provision of free legal aid. New directions and prospects for co-operation in the judicial-legal sector were also touched upon during the meeting.
