Book entitled "Methodical Manual for Drafting Legal Acts" developed by "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation of the Ministry of Justice presented to representatives of state bodies

The "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation of the Ministry of Justice organised a public discussion, which was attended by representatives of Ministries, the National Assembly, independent state bodies and self-government bodies.
During the discussion, Deputy Minister of Justice and co-author of the book Tigran Dadunts delivered an opening speech in which he stated that the need to prepare the book entitled "Methodical Manual for Drafting Legal Acts" arises from the importance of properly drafting legal acts and applying consistent approaches. The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that the book would serve as a reference book for a lawyer engaged in law-making activities, fostering the drafting of legal acts according to the common standards and thus improving the quality of the domestic legal framework.
The co-authors of the Manual are also Director of the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation Davit Gharibyan; Vice-Rector Co-ordinating Activities for Research and Innovations at the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Emil Margaryan; Director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia Lilit Petrosyan; Head of Office of the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation Nune Pepanyan and expert lawyer of the Foundation Marietta Mnatsakanyan.
Speeches were also delivered by the co-authors of the Manual Davit Gharibyan, Emil Margaryan and Lilit Petrosyan who presented the background of preparing the Manual, its main parts and the method for drafting it, stating that the Manual serves as an important tool to ensure effectiveness and improve the quality of legal acts and includes all stages of drafting of legal acts, as well as the issues related to them.
