Fourth session of the International Anti-Corruption Academy’s Assembly of Parties was held in Vienna between 9 and 11 December 2015, with the participation of official delegations of nearly 50 Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy and international organisations.

On 28 October 2015 the Global Summit of the “Open Government Partnership” (OGP) initiative kicked off in Mexico City. The Armenian delegation headed by Gurgen Dumanyan, First Deputy Minister-Chief of Staff of the RA Government participated in the Summit.

At the sitting today the RA Government approved the draft RA Laws ‘On making supplements and amendments to the RA Laws “On non-governmental organisations”, “On foundations” and a number of other RA laws’. Arpine Hovhannisyan, RA Minister of Justice noted that the draft has a long history and has travelled a long way.

On 22 October Arpine Hovhannisyan, RA Minister of Justice and Ha Hung Cuong, Minister of Justice of Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on co-operation in the area of justice.

On 17 and 18 October a workshop on Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights was held in Aghveran. The aim of the workshop was to improve the professional knowledge of the Staff of the RA Government Authorised Representative before the European Court of Human Rights with respect to the peculiarities of application of Article 2 of the European Convention.

On 21 October a discussion was held — with the participation of Suren Krmoyan, Deputy RA Minister of Justice and Naira Avetisyan, Deputy Head of the CoE Office in Yerevan — covering the main provisions of the RA Law “On probation and state probation service’’ and the preliminary expert opinion on it presented by the Council of Europe.
