Arpine Hovhannisyan receives Philippe Boillat
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan today received the delegation led by Director General of the Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe Philippe Boillat.
The draft Law "On preventing and combating domestic violence" was discussed.
The draft Law "On preventing and combating domestic violence" was discussed with the participation of Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Kocharyan, Head of the Department of Legislation of the Staff of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Bagrat Ghazinyan and other representatives of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Justice.
Arpine Hovhannisyan leaves for Venice on working visit
During the Session, Arpine Hovhannisyan delivered a speech in which she presented a number of major developments that have taken place after the amendments made to the Electoral Code. Arpine Hovhannisyan also touched upon the issue of the publication of electoral lists, attaching importance to the increase in public confidence in the electoral process.

Names of persons having passed the Qualification Test of Notary Candidates announced
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, accepting as a basis the requirements in point 52 of Order approved upon Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No 789-N of 6 June 2002 “On approving the procedure for the qualification test of notary candidates”, presents the names of the persons who passed all the stages of the qualification test of notary candidates. They are: Naira Manucharyan (father's name: Rafayel), Karine Torosyan (father's name: Karlen), Meri Aslanyan (father's name: Petros), Diana Abrahamyan (father's name: Samson) and Tsovinar Ananyan (father's name: Ruben).

Visit of the delegation headed by Arsen Mkrtchyan to the Federal Republic of Germany
During the four-day visit, the delegation visited the state office of Lower Saxony, the Federal Ministries of Justice of the same state and of the Federal Republic of Germany, considered the German experience in the planning of legislation, in the delivery of regulatory impact and in the organising of legislative monitoring, as well as the peculiarities of the preparation of draft laws, consideration thereof with interested parties, the summing-up of opinions and the impact of expenditures.
