Draft Law "On making amendments and supplements to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On compulsory enforcement of judicial acts"" and the drafts of related laws discussed
Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Compulsory Enforcement Service, the Police, the State Revenue Committee, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, the Central Bank of Armenia and the Union of Banks of Armenia, academic lawyers and advocates, as well as judges of the Court of Cassation, the Civil Court of Appeal, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction and the Administrative Court of the city of Yerevan participated in the discussion.
Delegation led by Suren Krmoyan participates in conference on “Strengthening transparency and accountability to ensure integrity: united against corruption”
During the conference, Deputy Minister Krmoyan delivered a speech in which, among a number of issues, he also touched upon the successes that Armenia has recorded in the fight against corruption, noting that ensuring considerable progress was made possible as a result of the relevant legislative reforms, that is, the criminalisation of illicit enrichment, the introduction of the institution of declaration of conflicts of interest, as well as the introduction of a number of electronic toolkits in the public administration system.
Process of administrative amnesty is over
Pursuant to part 1 of Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On amnesty of fines applied for a number of administrative offences" having entered into force from 26 July 2018, the Service did not grant amnesty with regard to the proceedings when that obligation was related to such unlawful conduct of persons committing a crime, which contained prima facie elements of a crime, and in relation to that, criminal proceedings had been conducted, as a result of which there was a judicial act of conviction having entered into force, or the proceedings of the criminal case had been terminated on a non-acquittal ground.

Session of Co-ordinating Council for 2017-2019 Action Plan arising from the National Strategy on Human Rights Protection was held
In his opening speech, Minister Zeynalyan greeted the members of the Council and presented the agenda of the session. As Chairman of the Co-ordinating Council, Artak Zeynalyan presented some observations deriving from the 2017-2019 Action Plan arising from the National Strategy on Human Rights Protection, urging the members of the Co-ordinating Council to ensure publicity of the reports of relevant state bodies on the official websites of those state bodies.
Minister Zeynalyan receives delegation led by Minister of Justice of Georgia Thea Tsulukiani
Artak Zeynalyan welcomed the visit of his Georgian counterpart to Yerevan and expressed willingness for close co-operation. In her turn, Thea Tsulukiani noted that she was glad to be in Yerevan after the previous meeting and discuss with Minister Zeynalyan several issues related to the progress of the reforms in the justice sector and the exchange of information concerning the legal frameworks between the two countries.

Unibank replenishes list of operators providing state services
Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan reminded that the institution of operators performing the functions of service offices of bodies of state authorities was introduced in 2016. According to the Minister, there are currently nine active operators providing around 67 state services.

During the meeting with the staff of ''Vanadzor'' Penitentiary Institution, Minister Zeynalyan noted that the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, executes punishments imposed by courts which should be executed in such a way as to not humiliate the honour and dignity of a person and not to be a punishment not provided for by the Constitution and law.
