Minister of Justice receives Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia
Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia Natalia Voutova congratulated Artak Zeynalyan on the occasion of being appointed to the office of Minister of Justice and underlined that the Council of Europe, represented by the Office in Yerevan, had the most effective and excellent co-operation with the Ministry of Justice.
Public awareness-raising campaign on the system of whistle-blowing continues
The purpose of the public awareness-raising campaign is to raise citizens’ awareness of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On the system of whistle-blowing", the guarantees envisaged for people reporting corruption cases by the Law and the possibility of anonymous whistle-blowing. Within the scope of the awareness-raising campaign, posters encouraging whistle-blowing have been put up on the interstate roads of the Republic and in the city of Yerevan.
Probation beneficiaries participated in “Healthy Lifestyle” course

Minister of Justice discusses with EU representative several issues related to sector-specific reforms
The representative of the European Union congratulated Artak Zeynalyan on being appointed to the office of Minister of Justice and reaffirmed the EU's willingness to support Armenia's new government. According to him, the Dialogue on Human Rights Protection held the day before and the 9th meeting of the EU-Armenia Subcommittee held today serve as evidence of the fact that the EU supports the Armenian nation, not individuals or governments.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Kocharyan, touching upon the changes conditioned by interior political events in Armenia, reaffirmed the willingness of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to implement the international commitments assumed by the Republic of Armenia, including within the scope of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement concluded between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union on 24 November 2017.

Ministry of Justice piloting project to outsource functions for food supply to penitentiary institutions to private sector
For the purpose of implementing the mentioned measures, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia held professional discussions with private companies, and agreements were reached to implement pilot projects for introduction of a new and effective system of preparation of, delivery and supply of food to penitentiary institutions. The first pilot project was implemented by "Master Service" LLC at "Goris" Penitentiary Institution where 100 convicts were supplied with new dishes made by the Company through a new method for about a week (from 15 April to 21 April).
