Official investigation assigned by order of Minister of Justice
By the order of the Minister of Justice, alongside the criminal case instituted by the Investigative Committee, an official investigation has been assigned to establish the circumstances of the death of a detained person found hanged at "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution on 16 November.

Today, Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan received Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Michael Banzhaf. On 28 October, upon the initiative of the "Centre for the implementation of legal education and rehabilitation programmes" SNCO of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, the event "Education for all" devoted to the international education day took place in "Armavir" Penitentiary Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, with the support of managerial staff of the institution. Within the framework of the event an exhibition-sale entitled "Union of Silence" was organised, where handicrafts of persons sentenced to imprisonment were presented.
