Working discussion on ''Prospects for Development of Arbitration in Armenia''

Draft Action Plan for Combating Violence against Children
Today, the subsequent session of the Council for Juvenile Justice took place with the participation of Deputy Minister of Justice Kristinne Grigoryan, and presentation of the draft of the Action Plan for Combating Violence against Children was included in the agenda of the session. In her opening speech, Deputy Minister Grigoryan greeted the members of the Council and expressed gratitude to the Office of the United Nations Children's Fund in Armenia for the sustainable and effective co-operation.
Bankruptcy sector to undergo reforms
The Government of the Republic of Armenia has assumed the obligation to make ongoing reforms in the bankruptcy system. A part of this ongoing process is the Bankruptcy System Reform Project'' implemented with the support of the Good Governance Fund of the United Kingdom and in partnership with the Ministries of Justice and Economy. A study aimed at identifying the key issues of the bankruptcy process in Armenia has been conducted within the scope of the Project and, based on the results, a roadmap and action plan for reforms in the bankruptcy sector have been developed to support the development of the agenda for comprehensive reforms in the bankruptcy sector.
Problems of the Law "On regulatory legal acts" discussed
From 2 to 3 August 2019, an outgoing working discussion to address the problems of the Law "On regulatory legal acts" and devise solutions to those problems was held with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan in the city of Tsaghkadzor. Representatives of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, public administration bodies, the Judicial Department and the Chamber of Advocates participated in the discussion.

Actions for prevention of and response to violence against children discussed
On 25 July, the "Legal Education and Rehabilitation Programmes Implementation Centre" SNCO of the Ministry of Justice, jointly with the UNICEF, organised a discussion entitled "Actions for prevention of and response to violence against children" and held with the participation of children. During the discussion, the children shared their notions of the issue, developed and submitted recommendations on the actions they would undertake to prevent violence and help children suffering as a result of violence, as well as recommendations to not allow disintegration of children from society and on how the State should respond.
Draft Anti-Corruption Strategy discussed in Gavar
On 25 July, Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan discussed with civil society representatives the draft Anti-Corruption Strategy and the Action Plan in the city of Gavar of Gegharkunik Marz. The meeting was organised by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and Armenian Lawyers' Association non-governmental organisation. Let us remind that the Ministry of Justice, with the support of a number of NGOs, has already organised such discussions in Yerevan, Gyumri and Goris, and meetings are also expected to be held with civil society representatives in Martuni, Vanadzor and Armavir.
Draft Anti-Corruption Strategy discussed in Goris
On 23 July, Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan discussed with civil society representatives the draft Decision of the Government "On approving the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Armenia and its Implementation Action Plan for 2019-2022" in the city of Goris of Syunik Marz. The meeting was organised by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and Open Society Foundations-Armenia non-governmental organisation.
