Deputy Minister of Justice receives OSCE/ODIHR delegation
Today, Deputy Minister of Justice Kristinne Grigoryan received the delegation of the OSCE/ODIHR. During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to law-making processes. The aim of the visit of the delegation was to assess the needs that emerge during co-operation between the legislative and executive powers within the scope of legislative initiatives and contribute to the capacity-building of interested parties during co-operation.

Application to receive burial allowance may also be submitted to territorial body of Civil Status Acts Registration starting from 4 March
In execution of the assignment of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Avinyan, the Ministry of Justice, jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, has created, through the combination of electronic governance systems for Civil Status Acts Registration and the State Social Security Service, an opportunity for citizens to submit an application to receive burial allowance at the same body of Civil Status Acts Registration upon registration of the death of the person. Thus, it will no longer be necessary to visit the State Social Security Service to submit an application to receive burial allowance.

On 29 February, a workshop entitled "Increasing effectiveness of justice in the context of judicial and legal reforms" was held under the chairmanship of Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan and with the participation of representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial powers in Tsaghkadzor. The event was organised by the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation of the Ministry of Justice, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
